AirAnswers®’ patented technology combines ionic propulsion developed more than 5 decades ago for space travel with cutting-edge molecular biology used to detect disease in human blood and urine samples. It works at the molecular level, so we can measure the actual molecules that lead to your symptoms.
AirAnswers® collects microscopic allergens from 1 million liters of air, more than any other commercial technology.

Allergens vs Irritants
Not all indoor air quality testing passes the grade for allergen exposure.
AirAnswers®'s collection technology collects what matters with the highest accuracy. Some air samplers measure important air quality elements, like CO2, radon, VOC, or mold. But they fall short of accurately measuring actual allergens, which are critical to an allergy or asthma sufferer.
We deliver data that are specific to your home and your family's health. AirAnswers® measures clinically relevant, invisible allergens that are inhaled through our nose and lungs to trigger symptoms.
All people with allergic diseases are affected by a unique personal set of allergens in their environment. The allergens inflame airways, which causes greater sensitivity to irritants. Focusing on allergens is vital!
Allergens include dust mites, molds, pollens, pests, and pets. Irritants, which affect everybody, include perfumes, exhaust, and smoke.
Allergy and asthma self-management is not one-size-fits-all. We translate results into actions. personalized to your unique environment
Our end goal is to help you solve your problem at home.
Our ISO-compliant laboratory provides customers with consistent and accurate results.
We use a cutting edge immuno-assay, based on the ELISA (enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay) method, to detect allergens in your air. ELISA is a form of immunological testing that is widely performed in hospital reference laboratories on patient blood and urine specimens. Our ELISA uses a combination of antibodies designed to identify allergens in your environment. We use specialized equipment that measures the amount of allergen in your air sample, providing you with an individualized blueprint of your tested room or rooms.

ISO/IEC 17025: Worldwide standard that medical testing laboratories must meet, to be deemed technically competent. Specialized quality systems are put in place to assure the repeatability and accuracy of results.
Our research is published in major scientific journals and clinically and scientifically validated in hundreds of homes and other locations in collaboration with leading allergists, researchers and institutions, including Johns Hopkins University, University of Chicago, Harvard University and Argonne National Labs.
Our beta trial was conducted on 22 allergy and asthma participants. After participants used AirAnswers®, their physician felt that patient management for 77% of them would be impacted by AirAnswers®'s measurements. Results suggest that AirAnswers® is a powerful tool for improving allergy and asthma management.
